RPMS WELCOMES NEW TEAM MEMBER, JENNIFER MCDANIEL

RPMS is pleased to introduce a new staff member, Property Manager Jennifer McDaniel. A southern California native with years of experience in the industry, Jennifer is a welcome addition to the RPMS team.

Born and raised in Encinitas, Jennifer has seen firsthand how North County has changed and grown over the years. She attended San Diego State University and graduated with a degree in anthropology in 2008. After college, she spent some time in San Francisco before returning to San Diego to attend culinary school. Her career in property management began when a friend’s parents needed help assisting members in an onsite clubhouse. Jennifer stepped in and later moved to another firm where her role expanded to managing properties and she earned her CAI certification.

With strengths in customer service and problem-solving, Jennifer is a natural fit for RPMS. She enjoys the challenge of addressing ever-changing client needs and finds it rewarding to help clients in difficult situations.

When she’s not working, Jennifer can be found spending time with her family enjoying all the busyness that comes with three young children. She also likes to cook and bake, spend time in the garden, and travel. RPMS is excited to welcome Jennifer to the team!

RPMS ANNOUNCES NEW TEAM MEMBER, JAKE CHERUBIN

RPMS is excited to welcome Jake Cherubin as our Senior Accountant. Jake’s versatile accounting background will most certainly be an asset to RPMS and our commitment to fiscal transparency in commercial and community property management.

Originally from Los Angeles, Jake graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. His accounting career began in public accounting, and after gaining a couple of years of experience serving a diverse range of clients, he earned his CPA licensure. Following his time in public accounting, Jake had an opportunity to join a dynamic startup in the nascent cannabis industry. During his time with the startup, he led the organization through the implementation of new accounting standards and external audits for the consolidated company comprising six legal entities.

In late 2023, a job opportunity with RPMS caught his attention, and a meeting with CEO John Farizell proved that this fast-growing organization would be a good fit for his proficiency in finance and accounting. Jake looks forward to using his accounting expertise to contribute to the growth of RPMS.

In his free time, Jake enjoys outdoor activities with his partner Kim, particularly pickleball and skiing.

RPMS is thrilled to introduce Vanessa Beebe as our Senior Community Manager. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the industry, she will be a huge asset to our clients and the RPMS team.

Vanessa grew up locally and attended Rancho Buena Vista High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. After briefly living out of state, she returned to Oceanside where she lives with her daughter. Vanessa has been in property management for the past twelve years and her lengthy experience with community management makes her the perfect person to serve RPMS clients and help their associations thrive.

Vanessa first encountered RPMS when she worked for another property management firm. One of her clients was moving to RPMS and suggested that CEO John Farizell hire Vanessa so she could continue managing their community. While the timing wasn’t right, it wasn’t long before Vanessa came across a job posting and RPMS was happy to bring her on board. John Farizell says, “Hiring Vanessa was a no-brainer. Her reputation precedes her and I trust that she’ll exceed our clients’ expectations.”

When she’s not working, Vanessa enjoys the beach and spending time with her family and friends. She loves to cook and says hosting and preparing meals is her favorite way to care for her loved ones. She’s also working towards CAI certification.

RPMS WELCOMES NEW TEAM MEMBER SARAH OLSEN

RPMS is excited to introduce Sarah Olsen as our new Property Manager. Sarah will serve as the onsite manager for longtime client, Liberty Station, a 360+ acre mixed-use development in Point Loma.

Sarah grew up in Salt Lake City and worked as a professional hairstylist and educator for 17 years. During her time as a stylist, she had an opportunity to manage a studio salon suite franchise spanning five locations totaling 170 units, while simultaneously running her own small business venture. These roles provided her with valuable experience in property management and business operations. Sarah eventually earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Western Governors University before moving to San Diego in 2020.

When Sarah came across an RPMS job posting, she liked the idea of working for a small company with a more personal feel. She especially enjoys working with Liberty Station because of its unique historical component as a former Naval Training Center. Sarah says she’s learned more about San Diego’s history through her work at Liberty Station and enjoys the challenge of working on such a large property. She describes her role as, “strategically managing the preservation of the property’s history while enhancing operational systems and processes for the benefit of Liberty Station businesses, patrons and community.”

Outside of work, Sarah is a musician and enjoys year-round live music in San Diego with her husband, who is also a musician. Fun facts: Sarah used to play bass in a band and was introduced to her husband by a mutual bandmate. During a recent trip on a bareboat charter in Tahiti, they discovered a love for sailing and plan to obtain ASA certification this spring. RPMS is excited to welcome Sarah to the team.
